Euston, Kings Cross, Fort William (I think), Glasgow Central and Edinburgh all spring to mind, however, I'm not sure of their availability to standard class / non-Sleeper passengers etc. I think KGX's are open to all.

- Yeah, I think I'll give it a miss.
Edinburgh is open to all, costs £5 unless you have a first-class ticket (to anywhere). Euston is the same.
Same with KGX and they look much better then the ones in the pic of glasgows do thats for sure.
And theres no cottaging going on as you have to let the cleaner open the showers for you and only one person at a time.
I'ld be too scared to use them, just incase some cottaging was going on!

Nah, you need to go to the showers in Motorway Service Stations for that sort of thing.
Err.. so I've heard![]()

To flush the toilet you also had to fill up a bucket and pour down the loo!
In the event you block a toilet which has a "conventional" flushing system (as in the sort you normally find in the UK, just in case I actually need to be more specific) you can sometimes unblock it by pouring a bucket of water down it whilst it's in the process of flushing (just in case you didn't know it). I sometimes wonder if certain 153s need this treatment, but there we are.
As for the shower in the picture posted on this thread... that really isn't bad, providing it is reasonably well-cleaned.

I've only ever had to use the ScotRail/Virgin showers at Euston and they were of a reasonable standard being well maintained. Outside stations then I would use the ones at a Regus centre if I had to by an airport or off a sleeper train. As far as general public showers go though (even pay per use) I think I'll pass.
Do many stations on the continent have public showers?
