I noticed this evening at Stratford International that a commemorative plauqe has been unveiled on the concourse celebrating the station being built on the site of the former Stratford TMD.
The plaque includes an illustration of the depot cartoon Cockney Sparrow and a few sentences about the history of the facility and how it was the biggest Train Crew Depot in Europe.
I only glanced at it quickly because I had to rush as I only had a minute to get my DLR train - if anyone has/can get a photo I'd be interested to see what else it says, it must be rather new because I went through Stratford International about a week ago and I never noticed it.
It's situated immediately to the left of the northern exit towards the DLR station.
