My line of thinking (insane as it may be) is taking the line down the path between the houses on Dumbarton Rd and BAe Scotstoun. A tunnel, starting from just before Esk Street, heading underneath Dumbarton Road, Spiershall Terrace & Kelso Street, emerging at this spot here would be made and the line would then be bridged over the sidings at the west end of Yoker C.S, connecting with the depot's entry tracks at that end.Fair enough, not from the area, was looking at alternatives on the various maps. My thought at linking up at Yoker would see the line go through the area of the leisure centre and join the NB route just east of Yoker station, where the CS are presently.
The west entry point to the depot (located directly beneath the Harwick Rd bridge) would have to be upgraded from a single-lead to a double-lead junction to cope with the increased levels of traffic, I think.
Then again, who knows which of the two routes Network Rail & Transport Scotland will pick when/if they decide to build this? It's all speculation right now...
