Hi I'm planning to visit Kidderminster to ride the Severn Valley Railway in June on a Sunday, will be arriving early to bag the best spot and leave my car there all day.

Does Kidderminster railway station car park that use either cash or contactless payment, is there free parking on a Sunday in the town itself ?

Thanks :D

Kidderminster (Severn Valley) car park is £4/day. Pay at machine (contactless) or the booking office (Cash/card).
Kidderminster (West Midland Trains) car park is £2.90/day at weekends. Pay at parking/ticket machines or online/app (not the booking office). Machines take card and may take cash, but I'm not certain.
Both station car parks are on (different) APNR (automatic number plate recognition) systems. They are accessed from the same entrance off Comberton Hill. The Severn Valley car park is a sharp right turn after turning off Comberton
Hill (Google Streetview).

The Local Council car parks charge every day, including Sundays and the supermarket/retail parks have maximum stays.

On street parking is normally available in Lea St, Lorne Street and Hillgrove Crescent. Avoid Farfield (access restriction) and Yew Tree Road (narrow cul-de-sac).

Thank you for the update, it seems the BR side of Kidderminster station cheaper for parking.

Think the Sunday all day rate might now be £3.00 rather than £2.90. Card or online payment only, presumably?

I presume it would be contactless card by the sound of it.

I'm not keen on app payments

Cheers :)
