Super off peak single any permitted London Terminals to York

With the above ticket today when can I leave Kings Cross? As I cant leave Kings Cross for a while on the direct route is there a more interesting route I can take arriving in York by 2100? I am free to leave London any time after 1630. Thanks

The least restrictive option in the evening is Liverpool Street, as you can leave at or after 09:30. Routeing permissions for London Group to York are: EE, EE+PN, ER, ER+PN, SY, SY+LS, SY+SH+NE, WA+EE and WA+EE+PN.

I suspect that ER+PN and the combinations including WA will give other variations on this.

You can use the Stansted Express to Stansted Airport, Cross Country to Peterborough, (both on any train) then board the same train you could have boarded from London.
