surplus wagons at Llandeilo Junction

as you pass Llandeilo Jn. adjacent to Trostre works there are surplus cargowagons / MGR hoppers in the sidings. have these been left here as non- runners due to their age or some other reason? MGR hoppers do not operate in the Llanelli area anyway, do they?

Might be waiting for scrap. Until late last year there were a good hundred or so at Leeds Neville Hill sidings until they went, probably for scrap.

They have been there since at least 2006. Thye must be awaiting scrap.
