The AM peak was chaotic in and out of Waterloo due to the monthly points failure preventing P20-24 being used.

The temperature did not fall below 2C generally, so certainly nothing was frozen (it was dropping slowly after a mild night). There was light to moderate rain and light winds. IF they meant that leaf fall was especially problematic between Esher and Surbiton (really, why, on level track with trees way back from the lines?), that is not the same as severe weather. I noticed a few quizzical looks at Guildford when the announcements were heard (several times). This sort of nonsense continues to make the railway look/sound more ridiculous.

They have been manically trimming vegetation between Esher and Surbiton during running hours as of late, might be something to do with it?
