Out of interest do Island Line drivers have the same salary as SWR Mainline drivers ?

I did wonder, no disrespect to IL drivers but it’s not taxing work compared to learning Clapham and Waterloo.

I’d assume the salary is still very good for an island job.

The salary was listed in the original advert...£43,362 for a 37h, 5 day week.

I agree, not a bad little job for someone. The ad didnt even specify if it was for a trainee or not which is odd.

Fear not I’ve a very thick skin, and skull.

I know SWR Weymouth was seen as the retirement Home Depot for many up the smoke drivers. I suppose Island life isn’t for everyone.
