Forgive me if thishas been discussed elsewhere or if it`s a very sensitive subject but can I be permitted to ask why this railway is currently not running trains? Feel free to (politely) tell me to mind my own business.

Judging by what's been put on the website, it looks like it's something contentious and quite probably sensitive, as you've guessed. There seems to be plenty going on though, according to Facebook, even if the railway isn't operating at the moment.

From what I've found by googling, it seems to relate to track being lifted following an ORR inspection.
