BN Paintshop update, 40758 has now been released to traffic in full Bee livery with Citaro 33028 taking its place in the shop, Volvo B7RLE 30928 is due in also but has been delayed due to difficulties obtaining panels for it...

I believe they do intend to have a sub brand for BRT and express routes eventually (was talked about in committee papers a while back), but it will likely just be an additional name or logo preserving the yellow for visual commonality rather than a completely different livery.

Thanks for the update. Is there a specific reason why 33028 is getting white names? Also is there any added ‘black’ to it or is it overall yellow like the Go North West Citaros?

There really aren't any places to add black on a Citaro and the huge expanse of glass is almost enough black in itself.

The white names will be same on all singles, as TfGM don't want the names placed inside the advert frames as they'll then be lost under the adverts...

Note: The pictures show Citaro 33028 repainted at Bolton Depot although slightly unfinished.

They're in this week, I'll keep you posted. The vinyls are due this week also, so those should be logo'd up straight away, 33028 might end up running before they arrive.

Diamond have only won two routes in Oldham as stated in their statement on the website.

Rotala have ordered a further 7 x ADL E200MMC's (11.8m) to be numbered 30685-30691

I have also been informed by a very reliable source, that First Manchester have won all the other small Franchises totaling 35 buses worth or work.

Not yet, so it's running about in plain livery for now. The supplier has had an issue, so hopefully they'll arrive early next week. This week's repaints are almost complete and look good (even if I do say so myself!) They will be finished on Monday, as we broke off to letter 40765 that returned from Blackburn. 40748 has gone the other-way in return.

It's currently planned to outshop 33016/7 at BN next week.

I wasn't aware the Leigh busway fleet was being yellowed but BL65YZE is parked up on depot resplendent in yellow.

Appears the busway fleet has lost its uniqueness.

Firstly, Solos 20780/93 have been dispatched for scrap, photo attached below.
Streetdeck 40754 has had the black parts added to its original yellow livery style.
Also attached are pictures of 30928, freshly painted but minus its "Bee Network" branding, which still hasn't arrived to date Pictures of 31408 will follow once our next paint buses turn up!

Note: Pictures below show two Solos on a tow wagon about to leave for scrap and two pictures of B7 30928 freshly painted into the new Bee Network livery for single decks.

30928 looks great, a great job there . Good to see the earlier repaints getting updated too.

Anyone by chance know which Citaros are hiding in the back there? Same with the picture of 31408. Great pictures by the way, thanks for sharing.

40799 replaces it in the paintshop.

40729 hasn't returned from Thorntons yet.

Yes and it'll get fitted once it sits still for long enough! Hehe!

39247 re-entered service today freshly painted. The sixth one completed. 39244 is away currently, at Bus & Coach World.

Sadly 39255 had an engine malfunction whilst enroute to be painted and was towed to Thomas Hardie Trafford Park.

But they should have left the stickers off, white on yellow looks pretty silly. It's also the trouble when a company doesn't have any painters, they're unlikely the send something away just to have alittle black applied. They ofcourse won't have that problem come September.

See Diamond 40745 is another sneaky yellow repaint. Spotted it yesterday minus Bee branding but still with Diamond logos and etc on the back.
