I'm on a TfL bus which has just sat empty for at least 10 mins at its terminus. It's full of beer cans, food wrappers everywhere upstairs and down. Don't the drivers have bags to collect rubbish which will roll around while en route?

Presumably all the other safety apparatus is required (gloves, litter pick, somewhere to actually put the rubbish bag....).

most drivers will pick up cans or bottles, that's it. I would always switch off and get out to pick up a bottle rolling round, both because of the annoying noise and the risk of accidents, twisted ankles etc. Never had to do it twice on a trip.
