Delayed 30 minutes yesterday whilst travelling on TfL Rail. Using a paper ticket but cannot seem to find a way of claiming a refund via the TfL website; it seems set up only to deal with contactless / Oyster users. Does anyone have a link to the correct page on the TfL website please?

It appears TfL doesn’t support submitting delay service refunds online for paper tickets - after I managed to find it in the TfL online account section hidden under ‘Oyster cards’, it redirects you to claim via phone instead.

Important:
If you travelled using a paper ticket or a National Rail smartcard and want to apply for a service delay refund, please contact TfL Customer Services on 0343 222 1234 (08:00 - 20:00 Mon-Fri). Select option 5 to speak to an adviser. You may be required to provide a copy of your ticket as part of the application process.

You can either call or write in with a copy of your ticket.

If your journey was entirely on TfL Rail or other TfL group services, they pay out for a 30 minute delay, but if you connected onto non-TfL National Rail services they only pay for an hour or more (in line with NRCoT).
