All,

I am pleased and proud to announce that the EMU Preservation Society is commencing its first real fundraising appeal - in the shape of our 'Fratton Fund'. The general jist is that we would love for people to visit our Paypal page and take part in the 'Fratton Fund' - where a donation of £11.98 is made!

We have already had donations - one of which was in the order of £23.04! (Rather 1198 linked...!). Similarly, there is also an option for people to donate the amount that they feel is available to them. Whether that be £5.00, £11.98, £15.00 or £20.00 (or more), all of it really helps.

The aim is to take the 'Fratton Fund' and use the donations received to allow more professional work to take place. This should include, but is not limited to, replacement of lino, replacement of seat covers (for new), cab modifications and repainting, and unit repainting.

Your assistance will be really, really appreciated.

Nicholas.

Just for advice,

We are currently receiving a steady trickle of donations and memberships.

These are so, so gratefully received. We would, however, love so many more people to have the confidence to donate to us.

The money will be used for things such as materials, paint (repaint), and is very important going forward as we will require a Low Loader reasonably soon.

Best, and please keep donating.
