Are there any decent views to be had of trains on the loop?

I'm particularly interested ahead of 61306 going over it towards Cambridge on Saturday 5th October. Failing that, what are the staff like at Royston station regarding standing on the platform taking photos?

Thanks, some ideas in that blog.

Would still like to know about the staff attitude towards photographers at Baldock though?

If you want photo of the train actually on the Hitchin flyover itself then probably the best place to stand is on the Icknield Way footbridge over the ECML at Cadwell Crossing (just to the north of the flyover)
Or on the Letchworth Greenway path behind Highfield looking down towards Hitchin East junction (with a long lens)
