But given a choice between Boris and anyone from Reform, it would be Boris every time.

I am not a fan of his, to put it mildly (as I've said many times on these forums over the past few years...) - but the threat of Reform leads to reviewing your opinion of former political adversaries and realising that they were perhaps not the very worst options possible.

I'm hoping it won't come to Boris II but if that's the only option to keep Reform out, I'd take it.
I mean this is actually fair.

He is actually also fairly moderate as Conservatives go too.
