Clue3:The station used to be a junction, but the branch-which provided a through route-was closed in the mid 60's

Clue4:shortly after leaving the stone platform, eastbound trains pass over an 8 span viaduct.

Clue5: A product of Derby Works was named after something approx 4 miles from this station

Clue7: To avoid confusion with the London stations mentioned in clue 6 (one of which is the busiest of its type in the UK), booking sites etc often add "(North Yorkshire)" to this station's name

Well done.
That took longer than I anticipated.
Re clue 3 the branch was to Low Gill and hence to the WCML. Clue 5 refers to Derby-built class 44 D7 Ingleborough.
Clue 6 was Clapham Junction and Clapham High st.

(2) Two TOCs call at this station
(3) Two other TOCs are scheduled to pass through here in passenger service - one fairly frequently, one less so.

(4) Near the station there used to be a connection to a privately-owned railway which sounded as though it should be in a different part of the UK.
