I fancy a look at the ice wall tomorrow so we catch the 20:00 Stagecoach in Lochaber service 44 from Fort William Interchange to Kinlochleven, Lochaber Road, arriving there at 20:50 on Wednesday and nip into the Trail Race Inn for a wee dram...

Again we have to seek overnight accommodation (with a full Scottish breakfast) and after the rest and sustenance afforded, we return to the bus stop to board the 0733 Stagecoach Highlands service 44 to the Corran Ferry bus shelter that arrives there at 0810 on Thursday morning.

Never one to miss a ferry crossing we get the 0820 departure and arrive on the Nether Lochaber side at 0825

We spend some time on the other side of the narrows, but as this ferry is free to foot passengers, we take the 0945 CalMac ferry to Ardgour that arrives there at 0950 on Thursday morning.

We catch the Stagecoach Highlands 44 service again, at 1002, travelling to Ballachulish Square, and arriving at 1017 on Thursday morning

After exploring the town a little, we end up by the tourist information centre where we board the 11:27 915 Scottish City link route to Glasgow, Stances Buchanan Bus Station arriving there at 14:15 Thursday afternoon

Not even time to have a hot drink, before we board the 1430 National Express service 538 to Aberdeen (Guild Street bus station) that arrives there at 1735 on Thursday afternoon.

After a quick walk to the Railway station, we board the 18:16 East Coast Service to Leeds arriving there at 00:50 Friday morning

Time to while away at this unearthly hour on the station until it is time to board the 0335 First TPE service to Manchester Piccadilly that arrives there at 0513 on Friday morning.

Time to explore Manchester and the station before returning to the railway station for the 07:42 train to Norwich Arriving there at 12:09 Friday Afternoon

Time to leave the railway station to explore the sights of Norwich and we find a nice restaurant to partake of an excellent mid-day meal, before making our way to the bus station, where we urgently book the computerised ticket which enables us to board the 1540 Megabus service M16 to London Victoria Coach Station that arrives there at 1845 on Friday evening.

A quick walk sees us at the underground station for the 19:07 Circle Line Departure to London Liverpool Street Arriving there at 19:27 Friday Evening

We make our way to the main railway station and board the 2000 GA service to Diss that arrives at 2131 on Friday evening.

Still time for an onward rail journey as we board the 2319 GA service to Colchester that arrives there at 2340 on Friday evening.

Deciding on an all nighter, we grab the 00:24 Greater Anglia Service to Norwich Arriving there at 01:42 Saturday Morning

We leave the railway station and make our way to the bus station where we pass away a couple of hours before boarding the 0415 National Express service 490 to Stratford bus station that arrives there at 0640 on Saturday morning.

We then board the 06:55 National Express Bus SH010 to London Victoria Coach Station where we disembark at 07:35 Saturday Morning

Just enough time to make our computerised booking for one of our longest non-rail journeys and we then board the 0800 Megabus service M11 to Aberdeen (Union Square bus station) that arrives there at 2045 on Saturday evening.

A walk to the railway station sees us safely on the 21:17 Cross Country service To Cupar arriving there at 22:48 Saturday night

Still a further rail journey to make this evening and we board the 2322 First ScotRail service to Dundee that arrives there at 2344 on Saturday night.

Deciding this will do for our night stop we decide to call it a night, then do some sightseeing, and after being put off by the idea of a bus, we spend a little extra time exploring the place before boarding the 11:02 East Coast service to London Kings Cross arriving there at 17:47

Time to head to the northern area, so we board the 1805 EC service to Harrogate that arrives there at 2105 on Sunday evening.

It's starting to get a bit late so we decide to head back to Leeds on the 2202 Northern Rail service arriving at 2238 on Sunday.

Still time for another onwards rail journey, as we board the 2353 First TPE service to York that arrives there at 0022 on Monday morning.

A brisk walk and we manage to board the 00:35 East Coast Service to Newcastle Arriving there at 02:12 Monday Morning

Far too late to look for accomodation so we decide to make the best of our lot and realise that we are now afforded the opportunity of a long distance stopping train that goes across the Pennines and into Scotland, so eventually we board the 0647 Northern service to Barrhead that arrives there at 1022 on Monday morning.
