Things left on trains (Note: photo gallery on external site)

I just saw this article on the telegraph website listing strange things passengers have left behind on trains. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/pic...range-items-left-on-trains-by-passengers.html (it is a gallery so I can't copy the text)

So I wondered if anyone else had any stories of strange things left behind?

Only one was an actual picture of an item on a train. What a totally crappy article/photo gallery whatever. Any idiot can google image obscure things get the picture and make a newspaper article from it.....

I accept that the content of the article wasn't brilliant but I thought the premise of it was an interesting one to see if people on the forum had stories of their own to tell about left behind items.

How do you forget that you got on the train with a 4 foot Mickey Mouse.
Never seen anything that you could call strange left on a train, handed in a few wallets on my travels though.

Not quite the same but the same principle - my local bus company reported that a hamster had been left onboard one of these buses a while back.
