Three Bridges Voyager Depot

Good morning

I came across some workings to/from Three Bridges Voyager Depot, any ideas what these are or why the depot is still a location when it hasn’t been there for over a decade?

There are sidings for Thameslink on that site as part of the larger depot there.

Those are Tilgate Sidings.

I think that, looking at an aerial view, the 'Voyager depot' location is the shorter sidings and building to the west of Tilgate Sidings, used by track plant now.

It is just that no one has renamed them.

Ah the Balfour Betty site

The Balfour site was separate to the voyager depot.
Tilgate sidings is where the voyager depot (iirc just sidings with CET and fuel points) was.

I guess the issue is that while the new Tilgate Sidings has its own location code (TIPLOC), the Balfour site doesn't so it still uses the Voyager depot location code.

You'd think the tampers would use three bridges p & MD location code.
