Hello

I have a Peterborough to Huntingdon (full price ticket) and Huntingdon to Boundary Zone 4 (with gold card discount) ticket route any permitted for today. I have an annual zones 1-4 travelcard for the journey from zone 4 to Kings Cross.

Can I use it on an East Coast train from Peterborough to Kings Cross?

Thanks

One season and two non-seasons? That is a valid combination, as described in the NRCoC, Condition 19(c).

www.nationalrail.co.uk/system/galleries/download/misc/NRCOC.pdf:

...one of the tickets is a Season Ticket (which for this purpose does not include Season Tickets or travel passes issued on behalf of a passenger transport executive or local authority) or a leisure travel pass, and the other ticket(s) is/are not.
If you wish to combine "two or more" tickets for one journey you only need to comply with one of Condition 19(a) or 19(b) or 19(c). So, as you comply with 19(c) then Condition 19 is fully satisfied. ie, there is no additional requirement for the train to call as described in 19(b).

If the guard was unfamiliar with 19(c) and attempted to charge a new ticket or excess fare, I would express surprise at that course of action and ask if the guard could check the wording of 19(c).

Thanks Yorkie.

I was concerned whether the ticket would be valid on east coast as their trains dont stop at Huntingdon
