It's simple. The following is an extract of the timetable at one specific station, somewhere in the South-East as the destinations would suggest, between 19:40 and 20:39 (I'm being lazy; I can't be bothered to search properly!). Just name the station!

19:52 to London Victoria
20:01 to Portsmouth & Southsea
20:02 to London Victoria
20:06 to Bognor Regis
20:06 to London Victoria
20:30 to Southampton Central
20:32 to London Victoria
20:35 to Bognor Regis

No, is not Barnham. Having said that though, it is of course the correct TOC. I mean, who else serves Bognor? ScotRail? :D

Still off. If it was East Croydon the list would be far larger and more exotic (with destinations ranging from Bedford to Southampton, via various local London areas such as Tattenham Corner).

Still no. All the answers have been at least fairly close thus far, but the correct station is still out there!

Horsham. Must be as there is nothing to Brighton so its got to come down the Arundel Valley and none of the intermediate shacks get that many service.

...And Horsham would be correct. I'll be back with another before too long; otherwise... any challenges from others? :)

Um, the answer's been. But Worthing would have been a decent guess... if missing the crucial "Brighton", as suggested by 87015.

SISTER'S RESPONSE:

"Awwww"
"Ok do ---"

[In other words, Gillingham is correct.]
