I'm going on my annual rail holiday next week and just need the ticket. Rather than an ALR, I'm going to use a North Country Rover and split tickets elsewhere. I want to start booking, so I just need to know: Is it too late for the RMT to call a strike for next week?

My ports of call are Bridgnorth (2/6), Ravenglass, Bury, Haworth, Whitby and Newcastle.

They need to give 2 weeks notice I believe so you should be safe. Just beware there are still random cancellations due to lack of staff during the week and some areas on sundays have more limited service
