With new timetable I see an 802 arrival into Scarborough at 08:03 from Liverpool Lime Street. But then seems to depart as a DMU. I suppose an 802 on York to Scarborough is a DMU but.... Does anyone know the Link detail for the 802 on this line going forward.

It is only how the service has been timed. There aren't 802 timings on the York to Scarborough section.

I suppose an 802 on York to Scarborough is a DMU but....
An 802 can match the DMU timings on the line. It might be noted that the schedule for the 0520 from Liverpool switches from 80x timings to DMU timings at York in the RTT schedule.

Does anyone know the Link detail for the 802 on this line going forward.
Follow it through on RTT and ignore the timing load. If there is only one 802 scheduled on the line, it won't end the day at Scarborough.

Today's working is

5S08 0744 Edge Hill Depot to Liverpool Lime Street 0753
1U35 0811 Liverpool Lime Street to Scarborough 1108
1U50 1148 Scarborough to York 1238
1U47 1304 York to Scarborough 1353
1U60 1448 Scarborough to York 1538
1U59 1604 York to Scarborough 1653
1U72 1742 Scarborough to Leeds 1916
1U75 1934 Leeds to Scarborough 2055
1U88 2148 Scarborough to York 2238
5M22 2251 York to Doncaster Carr Iep Depot

The weekday diagram is also Edge Hill - Liverpool - <Scarborough shuttles> - York - Doncaster Carr.

The TPE 802s appear to all be being named after castles. For example 802210 was named Hailes Castle at the opening of East Linton station last week and I’ve seen others. Does anyone have a list of the current names on each unit?

As far as I know that’s the only one.

Only a few are named. The others are;

802212 - St Abb's Head.
802215 - Palace of Holyroodhouse.

They're nice trains, but avoid seats C89 and C90 as these have no window!

802213 is now named “Unity” with Pride branding. I’m sure I’ve seen some other named units over and above the castles stated above too.
