On Friday I will be eating at a restaurant very close to St Pancras / Kings Cross at 1:15. I'll also be driving an electric car from near Beckton DLR to County Durham, leaving Beckton at a relatively low charge. So in an ideal world, my basic plan is to drive from Beckon to a publically accessible charger near a MML, ECML, or appropriate tube station, take the train in, and come back out to a charged car. (There are decent speed chargers near KGX/STP but they're inside the congestion charging zone which ain't my bag; I'm not near it enough to apply for the discount).
My current plan is head around the M25 to Cockfosters with a backup station of Oakwood, as both have decent chargers at them - but not many! So it's a bit risky (not in terms of charge, but in terms of turning up in time).
I'm not sure the best way to research this though and it feels as though there should be better options.
In theory I would consider the bus. Also have no problem in dirving directly and parking nearby but then it means I have to charge somewhere relatively soon after without a meal to distract me.
