Returning to an interest in railways after an absence of several decades (when I wasn't really interested in multiple units, not least because I never saw one where I lived), I'm catching up with all the various trains build since, and indeed the DMUs and EMUs that were around in my youth.
Having repeatedly having to look up a class to see what it looked like, that got me thinking, has someone ever put in the effort to create a reference list of classes - just a simple thing, with class number and "passport photo" reference image for easy ID.
I'm aware there's plenty of resources devoted to subgroups, but no overall "identity parade" of all classes made.
That would surely be a handy file to have. Might have a bash myself, if no such reference exists.
