The question about Brussels and the link to the Benelux train compositions web site makes me wonder if anyone has inventoried such web sites for the main European railways.

The Swiss version is excellent - but does not include all local trains so misses some loco hauled

There is Czech site which I recall is quite comprehensive

There is s German site but AFAIK only for IC trains

Any additions to the above list would be great

For the Czech republic and Slovakia I use Zelpage

http://www.zelpage.cz/?lang=en

It's slightly more awkward to navigate than vagonWEB, but is a little more comprehensive and has the added bonus that if you click on the picture of the train, a pop up opens that details not only the stock but also , near the bottom, the previous and successive workings. This means that you can work right through the loco/ unit diagrams if you wish!

Also very useful for bashing are the speadsheets at http://sledovanihv.blogspot.cz/

These list individual loco (and some unit) workings by diagram, often in advance :)

This one is particularly useful for fans of the wonderful loud(and now becoming rare) cd749 type that work odd journeys around Prague area- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PllH2bZULiHjUcMeyRtiUVvrBAtD6jgs4iCkeWqz_cQ/pub?output=html

Could this be made into a sticky thread? Would be a useful resource for some I imagine.

Not to be forgotten is that Vagonweb (the Czech site) includes (at various levels of comprehensiveness), formations for 10 countries in addition to the Czech Rep.

The site includes formations in the following 9 other countries:

Slovakia
Poland
Hungary
Slovenia
Croatia
Serbia
Bosnia
Montenegro
Italy (just a few EN only)

...and last but not least...

UK (Abellio Greater Anglia only)
