All points made in the article are fair, and it is the profit-centric thinking that dictates modern travel (sadly).
They neglected to mention that EDB-GQS fares are (apparently) remaining the same, and i assume that these aren't the only ones.

The fares always always always go up in January, normally comparible with inflation, sometimes above.
