Hi All
I am completely new to this forum and currently working in a totally different industry. Recently applied for a trainee train driver vacancy with Transport for Wales. As i await the progress have been doing a bit of research about the various tests involved.
From what i gather the assessment is as follows
A.Paper Based
1Group Bourdon Test
2.Trainability for Rules and Procedures
a)Reading comprehension and Audio test
b) Dials test
3.Written communication test
B.On Computer screen test
1.ATAVT perception test
2.2 Hand coordination test
3.WAFV vigilance test
I am not sure if the above information is correct. Kindly help to clarify. Also:
Not sure if there is a test involving a low pitch and high pitch sound differentiation test and if it is there then in which assesment is it included?
Not sure if in addition to above one also has to do a Mechanical Comprehension Test (also known as Abstract reasoning or nonverbal reasoning)
Are all the assesments done in a single day?
I could be wrong but only after passing the above does one then proceed to the interview stage
I will really appreciate if anyone can help me answer my above querries
Waiting in hope
