Cant even blame me I've been on annual eave this week ;) but im wondering what state im gonna walk in on sunday morning :p:lol:
Look if you are rostered on the right bus, on the right route, you'll be fine. I doubt you'll be rostered Solo SR that is parked on Meadow Road in Mango livery. Picture on Wellglade Enthusiasts Facebook. I know you love Solos. ;)

Demo Scania Irizar coach 99 is due to go back on Monday.. Optare Solo SR 498 is now repainted in the new style Mango (app) livery.

That'll be good for their trials of double decker coaches (and will be really fun to ride!)

Trentbarton should be expecting arrivals of the first few ADLs within the next month. I believe Ilkeston Flyer will be the first batch to enter service mid-July

498 as mentioned above is now in a slightly updated mango livery and is now in service with Kinchbus. Trentbarton Mango Solo 502 has also transferred to Kinch

Also unconfirmed but I am told that some displaced Volvos will also move over to Kinchbus to displace Citaros

Former Connect Solo 485 is now in Notts & Derby fleet livery along with ADL number 53

Notts & Derby coach 73 is now in Red Arrow livery with 74 soon to join

Have fleet numbers been confirmed?

Kinchbus seem to be taking on quite a few Mango liveried vehicles as of late, I do like a bit of variation.

Whatever happened to the "Greener Buses" livery?

Might just be confined to the E400Hs, thankfully
Personally, I think it has been consigned to the bin.. Noticed the only one so done always seems to be out of service on the depot. I noticed today that 53 is now fully branded with fleetnames at roof line level, possibly to allow adverts to be carried in the frames on the sides.

Makes you wonder if displaced Volvos will see off the Scanias at Trentbarton and TM Travel too

Actually coach 73 is in that generic black livery, with red flashes, with a Red Arrow style rear.

Volvo 744 is supposedly joining sister 743 in Skylink Express livery, I suppose the end is near for the Scanias; brilliant vehicles even at their age (20 years!)
Yes Volvo 744 went to Bus and Coach World at Blackburn, I think.. Must be due back, if not already back

I'd imagine there would be enough to do both. 16 branded Volvos are being displaced, that allows for:
- 6 for TM Travel to replace Scanias (including the sole Omnilink)
- 2 to replace the other Skylink Scania and 669 at Notts
- 2 for Kinchbus to replace Citaros
- 7 left over to go elsewhere

But that's verging on speculation as I've not heard anything about TM Travel taking any Volvos

Well, I'm sure TM would welcome any reliable single deckers. I am amazed they keep their Scanias on the road. .I guess some of the Volvos could provide a welcome and cheap supply of parts, to keep others on the road, thereby avoiding having to buy them.

TM has a separate thread. Please keep this one for discussing Trent Barton only.

Two reasons for this livery were that the E400Hs are low emission hybrids, and that the N&D ones can Interchange with the TM fleet if needed, hence the Solos and E200s not receiving such livery.

Same can be said for the Mango liveried buses that have been swapping between Trentbarton and Kinchbus recently, with repaints into Kinchbus livery happening less often.

And also Coaches 73/74 holding generic grey liveries for use with N&D and Red Arrow branding on the rear for use on there if needed. I suppose it make for good advertising for the service if those coaches cover a lot of miles

It seems as though Wellglade as a whole are making it easier to loan buses between their operators without the need to repaint

Went past Meadow Road Depot earlier. Next to one of the new Volvo Plaxton Elite Interdeck coach at the side of the depot is there another new coach? I haven't seen it at the depot before, is it going to be to help with Download?

There should be two interdeck coaches unless it was something else you saw?

My understanding was that the 1401 to 1415 batch were not hybrids anymore. They were converted to straight diesels when still at Lothian. Just think, if all the buses were painted the same, it would be really easy to move them round and few people would notice

Not 55/56/63 to 65/74 then? There was talk of other coaches coming at one time. Surprised there is enough room for them all at Meadow Road
No, I'm fairly sure it wasn't. It didn't have any notts+derby branding on like they have. Also, fairly sure 74 has gone to Langley to be repainted. I saw it yesterday going around Pentagon Island towards that direction.

I know Notts and Derby were looking at some Elites at one point. Like the Red Arrows but just two axles. Maybe the Interdecks were instead of them
