There are three bus stops in Finchley in London on the N20 route with only a night bus service, save for a couple of school services during the daytime. Are there any other roads or bus stops with only a night bus service in London, or elsewhere?

Lothian buses - Between Roswell and Bonnyrigg on the A6094 the N31 serves 2 stops that are not served by any other services.

Wilmer Way is only served by N91 between Arnos Grove and Southgate, no day routes use this section of road. Not sure if there are any bus stops on this section though, its just the quickest way to follow the Piccadilly line between the 2 stations.

Pre-Covid, Brighton & Hove's N12/14/29 routes, as well as the Sussex Coach N8, all started from West Street Wetherspoons - this stop was only served by night buses (and the stop was marked with the same signage). The N8 & N29 are yet to return and, while the N12 & N14 are now back, they follow the daytime route from Brighton Station to Imperial Arcade. The West Street stop is no longer served at all.

Back when Southampton still had night buses, they used to all start down at the Odeon/West Quay road which never had any buses during the day. The nearest stops being half a mile away at either the train station or town quay.

Not a Night Bus only stop, but there is a stop at the Wightlink terminal at Fishbourne on the Isle of Wight. Its only services are Route 9 at 00.46 and 00.50.

Reading has a few -

When there was the 'night track' network rather than the current 24/7 routes, there were some sections of road served only by night buses. There were links across Lower Earley - Winnersh Triangle - Woodley (I can't remember if this was one route, or two, with something coming down Wokingham Road and returning via Woodley or similar) which did not have day routes. There may have been others in other parts of town.

There is one stop at the south end of Northumberland Avenue (opposite the turning circle which is the daytime terminus of route 5) which is now only served by the night / early morning version of route 6 / 5 where buses run out as a short version of the daytime 6, along Whitley Wood Road and back to town centre as a 5. (I don't think the night 5 / 6 has any unique stops for the journey in the opposite direction.)

The night 26 also follows a slightly different route from daytime buses in to Reading Town Centre, and the eastbound stops on Castle Hill and Castle Street are only served by the night 26.

Kielder Close stop in Hainault is only served by the night N8 that terminates at the next stop on Manford way by The Lowe and it even has a shelter that no one will ever use to board a bus from that stop (unless any buses stop there on diversion), though the shelter was there from the days when the 462 used to serve the Kielder Close stop when departing from Hainault going towards Ilford before it was restructured to go via Fairlop and to terminate at Limes Farm Estate instead.

If the night services return up here, the Stagecoach N17 Aberdeen to Westhill night service has a set of east and westbound stops on the mainline A944 which are exclusively served by said service, all day services route through the park and ride. There were further nightbus only stops in Westhill but service was discontinued some time prior to the suspension of night services.

There was previously a stop in the Goose Green Way area of Yate which was totally unserved during the day but then started being served by Monday to Saturday evening journeys on the 46 which got extended to Brimsham Park.

This particular stop is now served Monday to Friday daytimes by the Y3 service.

A similar thing happens on route 5 Monday to Saturday according to the timetable with the 0045 from Newport and 0100 return starting/finishing at the Red Funnel terminal.

Which is utterly pointless as it is less than a hundred yards from the regular stop. Or perhaps they think that those travelling at such times can’t walk/crawl such a long distance. And the bus probably has to back and fill several times to turn.
