At a guess, the X10 route then X93 route?

When citing external sources we require the following:
  • A link to the source
  • An appropriate quote from the source, enclosed in quote tags

This is required by forum rules.

Do we know how often X11 is going to run and whether ENCTS passes will be accepted on it?

One return journey a day, up to seven days a week according to the data pulled from the registration database by bustimes.org. They seem to show more than the official Government site.

As it's registered as a local bus service they will have to accept ENCTS passes (subject to any local time restrictions).

Not primarily double-decker, but this one was for some time. There used to be the 30 that ran from Farnborough to Basingstoke, which included about five double-runs AFAIK: one to serve RAF Odiham, one to loop Zebon Copse and Church Crookham, one to serve Fleet Rail Station, one to loop at Minley Estate and one to serve Farnborough Rail Station, not helped with an interworking route 31 beyond to Frimley Park Hospital (had we left the EU sooner that section may as well be part of the 30!).

It was introduced by Stagecoach during the time they held the Fleet Buzz subsidiary in 2013 to replace their route 200/100/10 (renumbered over time in that order), which too ran from Basingstoke albeit to Camberley a few miles north, in unison with algamating Fleet Buzz's existing routes out of Farnborough and Fleet. During this course of time, alongside the step-entrance Varios and low-floor single-decker ex-London castaways, a few of their Leyland/Volvo Olympians began running on this route, mainly acting as backup. To translate Stagecoach English to Standard English, this meant it was regular thanks to the Buzz vehicles unable to start up in the morning.

It was withdrawn in 2015 - partly because of Hampshire County Council budget cuts; partly because South West Trains had a quicker, more frequent service from Farnborough to Basingstoke; and partly because the staff disliked its huge length - which was also when Fleet Buzz merged into the main body of Stagecoach South, and to this present day the 13 (Basingstoke - Haslemere) and 10 (Farnborough - Church Crookham) replace about two thirds of the 30 but never shall the twain meet.

However, the Local Authority may refuse to reimburse ENCTS passes on the grounds the it is a leisure service not an essential one.

I am planning to do the Vectis "Island Coaster" I think it is called when I go to Isle of Wight in September. The full journey in the morning is clockwise Ryde, Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor etc to Yarmouth. The afternoon journey returns anti clockwise along the same route.

The Vectis buses I saw last year were always immaculate and mostly Enviro 400s, with a handful of Scanias. Not sure what they use for open top serrvices.

No idea of mileage but it looks fantastic from the upper deck
It's only 2.5 hours long.

Bustimes shows times for Saturdays and Sundays.

It also contains a similar return journey and a short return journey between Scarborough and Whitby.

Some of the Dalesbus routes are of a considerable distance (3h+).

It's not clear if these are the final times, due to start in a couple of weeks, but bustimes.org is reporting a 3 hour time on the 875.

Are York Pullman likely to use a double decker on this route?
