Prospect Coaches are based at Lye , near Stourbridge , West Midlands. The original [ I think ] owner was Geoff Watts who has a coach named after him and it carries the reg GJ22WAT.

Apologies bussnapper , I only found this out because I travelled on the afore mentioned vehicle a couple of weeks ago. On chatting to the driver , I was told that Mr. G.J Watts is still around - albeit in his 90's.
Nah, no problems. The 4th generation of his family recently started there too.

Living locally to Lye, whenever there was a school trip it'd be Prospect who'd be doing the contract (my old man was a driver there a few decades ago and said Geoff was a great boss, not afraid to get his hands dirty.)

A massive congratulations to Ros Hadley who on this day 50 years ago started a new job at Prospect Coaches, on the same day their new depot opened in Lye! 5️⃣0️⃣‼️
Guided by her father Geoff ‘Gaffer’ Watts, Ros has worked hard to grow Prospect, later welcoming her son Nathan Hadley-King and now his son, Jake into the family business. Together with the team, Prospect continues to thrive and grow today.
Congratulations and thank you Ros!
