Two Latvian Locomotives

One of my colleagues in work recently popped home to Latvia for two weeks and while there he took these three shots of the two locomotives passing through his local station (which I have to get the name of). The pictures were taken in a temperature of -25C!

I know nothing about Latvian trains so any info would be appreciated. Pictures can be found here:

That appears to be a CHME3 hauling half of a 2M62

No. It's half of a double loco - guess the corridor connection is for crews to get from one end to another.
