I chose to pay before someone removed all my downloaded content... Have to get it all back up on my PC again (still got 2 months left).

For "regualar" members, it is very slow, and a lot of the stuff on there comes in big files and needs multiple downloads. I tried downloading one train (a class 156) just as a trial and was given an 8 hour estimate. In reality, you need the premium membership. The £20 for the year is a good investment if you're going to use the resource, and trust me there's some good material on the site.

If you're a bit unsure, the £3 for one month may be enough to let you try a couple of the routes out and see if you want to make the bigger commitment. But I can assure you that, if you want more content for MSTS, it is a very good website and worth every penny.

Adam another way to get some Premium membership at UKTS is to go to the CD ordering section order a couple of the community CDs at £4-50 each. Dorset Coast, Thames Mersey and North West England spring to mind, as with each CD you order you will receive a months premium membership for each CD. More than enough time to get anything else you want from the files section. If you do choose to take out a membership any cds you order will be added to your Premium Membership so you don't loose out. I have only paid a membership once 3 years ago and its getting close to needing renewing in August

UKTS is well worth the yearly premium membership. I've been a premium member on & off since the start & have easily got my moneys worth all the while. If you are just starting off with MSTS (were have you been??) then there are tons of files to download to upgrade msts & get it to work 100% better than the basic version, you will need premium membership for that for at least a month.

I suppose it can be confusing but anything that you download should have a readme file providing detailed instructions.
I was clueless at first but picked it up quick enough.
