It seems I cannot on the TFL site. the only options for my Oyster are PAYG and a multi-zone travelcard. Is it possible to do online?

Nope, because the only way to collect said bus pass would be to make a rail-based journey. The only way you can buy a bus pass online is to order an annual on a new Oyster, in which case a card is physically posted to you with the bas pass already loaded.

Assuming you're in the London area however, monthly passes are available from any normal Oyster ticket stop.

Ah I see. Can I buy one at a station ticket office or ticket machine with oyster faclities?

You can certainly buy them from London Underground ticket machines; I think you should be able to get them from Overground and TfL Rail machines/offices too, but I don't have personal experience of that to confirm.

Plus TfL travel information visitor centres or whatever they're called at the moment.

As an aside, since tube station ticket offices closed, has anyone tried to buy odd-period bus passes? LU stations and the aforementioned visitor centres used to be the only places to buy them from, so I assume they've been dropped but have never seen official confirmation to that effect.

That's something I've also wondered about.

The single mention of "odd period" on this TfL page is in relation to Travelcards, not Bus Passes.
