It’s as if privatisation never happened:

(Image shows “British Rail” sign at Marylebone underground in 2017, though it was still there in February 2024).

It's certainly not the only example of "British Rail" on LU signage, though! Take this at Piccadilly Circus:

This one always makes me chuckle at Waterloo… not just British Rail but still says International Terminal :D
These probably belong in another thread really, but since they've been brought up, I would like to submit the attached image for consideration. Route diagram at Charing Cross Bakerloo line northbound platform, taken February 2023. "British Rail" interchanges shown at Marylebone, Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone; "North London Line" interchange at Willesden Junction; and the Hammersmith & City missing at Baker Street, which presumably hasn't been added since the line was first branded as separate from the Metropolitan in 1990. But a sticker over Paddington for the Elizabeth line!

Let's face it the way things are going that'll be the most up to date sign on the network.

Hopefully

I'd also put forward the Green Park Jubilee platforms with "Elizabeth Line" along with "British Rail"!

There are at least two stations on the Metropolitan Line that still have maps on the platforms that show a BR/NR logo next to Moor Park even though it has been decades since BR/NR services stopped calling there.
