If you look at the air quality maps for the area the dirtiest areas would be Gloucester place and the Marylebone road. Air pollution over Marylebone station is slightly elevated but nowhere near the levels of Gloucester Place and Marylebone road.

If F-T fuel is a drop-in replacement then the exhaust gases will likely be the same as 'real' diesel.

No, because
1) no sulphur or nitrogen impurities
2) the precise synthesis of specific chain length paraffins makes standardisation of the fuel much easier, making the engines much easier to tune accurately
