The first photo is the rule on using a day rover with another ticket.
The second photo is the map of where a GM Wayfarer priced £14 can be used.
It states the train does not need to call where one ticket ends and another finishes. So does it mean a GM Wayfarer, along with a Sheffield-Grindleford CDR, can be used to travel from Sheffield to Manchester? And be valid on a train that passes through but doesn’t stop at Grindleford?
It states simply “another ticket” which I assume to mean any ticket not another area ticket. I also ask because last time I looked the Sheffield to Manchester CDR had been withdrawn (except on Northern) meaning a sudden rise in cost of about £5 for a trans pennine day trip between Sheffield & Manchester on faster trains.
And furthermore I’ve noted the GM Wayfarer could in fact be further to Chorley or Warrington. Making for very good savings if you add a third ticket to a day trip from Sheffield to Blackpool or Liverpool.
