Over the years, there have been calls for the Victoria line to be extended to the depot, to provide interchange at the NR station of Northumberland Park. As things stand, NR needs the extra space to provide additional capacity on its line into Liverpool Street. So, such a prospect seems unlikely.

However, there is the staff platform at the other side of the depot, and a train serves it every twenty minutes. Could there ever be a possibility that a proper station be built here, and provide a walking distance interchange?

Train's dont serve the staff platforms during the peak.

I doubt a station would ever be built there. You wouldn't be able to run trains 'to the depot' to a public platform at NPK, as it'd need to be totally separate from the depot. For it to go to a platform by NR then go to the depot, it would need to go to the platform, back out again towards London, then reverse into the depot.

In addition to this, the Victoria Line already serves Tottenham Hale - around 2 mins by train, (admittedly 1-2 an hour stopping there), but also the Route 192 bus, running every 10 mins, with a 4 min journey time.

It's always been an interesting debate Daniel. And indeed, this goes as far back as 1982. Recently, the suggestion was raised again to enable better access during the 2012 Olympics. Physically, there would be little difficulty in extending services to a new station at Northumberland Park. Whether the traffic will warrant it is another matter.
