North Wales (duh), I think the Shrewsbury service runs on a Sunday too, so they'll operate that, as well as some London - Birmingham/Glasgow & Edinburgh.

Is there a depot/ecs drivers grade that drives voyagers ECS to Crewe/Chester, New Street and Euston or do Virgin drivers book on at Barton Under Needwood?

Wolverhampton drivers sign Central rivers depot. They will get a taxi to or from the depot.

(Some) Manchester, Liverpool (and possibly another depot) drivers sign Crewe depot.

For example, for 5D35: a Wolverhampton driver would get a taxi to Central rivers. They would perform a safety check of unit (or possibly a full prep but very rare) and then work it to Crewe. Then a Manchester driver would take over and take it to Chester.
