Just a quick one, i arrive touch wood back in the UK on 19 Dec. I'll be travelling from Oxford to Darlington using the cross country service mid to late afternoon 1700 the latest. where or what is the best site to look at regarding posessions that my affect my journey many thanks

Any online journey planner will advice you on any planned engineering work and will offer alternative journeys.

www.nationalrail.co.uk and click on service disruptions is also handy.
