water proofing a paper print

Hi All

Does any know how to seal a paper print from a pc printer to make it water proof and then stick it down so its waterproof as well

Laminate it? Have to be careful trimming the paper down around the edges slightly so that the laminate pouch seals properly. Can I ask why it has to be waterproof - is it intended for outside use? If so you'll come up aganst another problem - UV light fading the printed ink....

Ok this has nothing to do with trains on this time although! But not on any modeling forums some here will know i hope!

See photo below, the swastika emblem was paint on most WW2 battle ships, instead of painting it on the wheelhouse roof i have gone for a print!
