I guess that depends on what you will be doing, as head of Network Rail or SWT you may get a parking space!, I personally use public transport as its easier.

There is no staff parking for SWT employees at London Waterloo, there a very small number places near Lower Marsh but i am 99% these are reserved for Network Rail.

Thought as much! :D
Was only asking because I was offered a guard interview at Waterloo even though I applied for Wimbledon.
'Normal' (after first service and before last service) would have been fine (25min train journey) any other time would have meant driving into London!:roll:
Just not possible in reality. (I live in Worcester Park)
A couple of weeks ago I came back from Orpington and saw 2 SWT drivers get on and travel to Waterloo (east) then walk down to Waterloo to start there shift, what would these guys do when they cant use the train?
How do other employees who don't live in London manage?

Im a guard at Waterloo and to be very honest, its not as much of a problem as you think, (i live in Croydon), you work out how to get there depending on your start time.
I use the night bus if i start before 05:45.
Drive or Tram to Wimbledon then SWT for anything after.
Have a look at the N87 bus route and see if thats any good and feel free to ask anymore questions

It's definitely possible to get to Waterloo out of hours without a car. Buses run all night.
