1713 Waterloo to Aldershot calling at Frimley is part of the normal weekday timetable.Does the 17.13 Waterloo to frimley service run regularly at this time. Use Waterloo a lot and have never seen this service ever before.
At Waterloo was announced as frimley train, guard said frimley as well but then changed to Aldershot at Clapham junction.1713 Waterloo to Aldershot calling at Frimley is part of the normal weekday timetable.
It doesn’t run all day however there’s only 2 evening peak services, 1713 and 1813.
I think that’s because leaving Waterloo at that time there will be a quicker direct train to Aldershot via the normal mainline route which doesn’t call at Clapham Junction. The 1725 will get you to Aldershot at 1808, the 1713 doesn’t reach there until 1853.At Waterloo was announced as frimley train, guard said frimley as well but then changed to Aldershot at Clapham junction.
Up in the morning comes from Farnham still though if I'm right? They were 1705 and 1805 via Richmond for years but in May 2018 (IIRC) they became Reading services, with the services via Frimley diverted via Hounslow and retimed to run earlier.
They were then diverted back via Richmond when all the peak extra Reading trains were cut.
The extension from Aldershot to Farnham in the down direction was only for a few years too, they were cut back to Aldershot as there were a number of services terminating at Farnham in the evening which caused delays. Terminating them at Aldershot where there is an extra platform available for down trains mitigates against that.
Yes as I checked before writing post #2Up in the morning comes from Farnham still though if I'm right?
