Just wondering what the loadings are like for services from Waterloo to Guildford in the morning and to Waterloo from Guildford in the evening weekdays. Light or not? Also how much time should I allow to get from the Jubilee line to the NR platform?

Many thanks

Speaking as a regular user of Guildford, that’s usually fine. It’s vice versa where the trains are packed. (Up in the morning down in the evening)

The Jubilee line is slightly more awkward to get to than the Bakerloo/Northern/W&C and unlike those lines it’s normally quicker to go down the escalator to the Tube entrance by the McDonalds. :)

Although pretty well loaded, you would be travelling against the main peak flow, but still mainly on long trains. The only real trains to avoid are the 1800 and 1834 Guildford to Waterloo in the evening. They are only 5 coaches and do get very busy. Realistically from the Jubilee Line platforms to a main line train I would allow 10 minutes, it is a fair distance and a fair climb if you are intending on walking up the escalators.

Many thanks for that. Well loaded but still seats available?

Yes. Most the trains are 10 or 12 coaches if you are travelling in the peak, even against the main flow, so there are seats available.
