WCML Power Problem Friday 8 February

I'm in a queue of trains northbound at Preston at the moment.

As far as I can see on RTT there's a weather related overhead line problem at Beattock affecting only northbound and it started around 1130am, so stuff's been getting stopped for two hours now.

Does anyone have any more info?

"Expected to last until 1400" it says on NRE (loss of power to the OHLE between Lockerbie and Carstairs).
Buses running north of Carlisle, and ticket acceptance on LNER/XC/TPE/SR.

Makes sense, I'm on the move again an hour late on the 1210 Manchester Airport-Edinburgh. It's very windy going by the look of the River Lune at Lancaster, so I suspect the story's far from over.
