Dear all,
After a hiatus of over a decade I'm slowly regaining an interest in the UK rail scene and planning a trip across the Pennines to the North-West tomorrow, probably to Wigan NW, or Warrington BQ.
A couple of things: Firstly will there be anything to see at either of these stations on a Sunday usually? And secondly, I note that many of the services before 3pm between these two stations are bus-operated. What is going on here; is the WCML totally closed? Are there likely to be any interesting movements/drags?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Tim.
