Weekday Trans pennine Wakefield Kirkgate detour

As usual when I plan a bash around an area of Britain's railways there is a fly in the ointment. From June 2nd there seems to be weekday diversions. No timetables of the amended services can be found but at least two services have become shuttles. Hull and Scarborough?

They were handing out leaflets about it at Leeds station a couple of days ago.

I think it's just the Leeds - Ravensthorpe bit that's closed (from memory). Plenty of trains going around the blockage.

The dedicated Trans Pennine Upgrade site seems to have been abandonded and only mentions "upcoming" closures in March this year. The news section has had frequent updates until early April, then nothing.

Leeds - Dewsbury/Ravensthorpe is shut Monday to Friday for the next four weeks, the usual diversion services run with 2 tph Leeds - Huddersfield - Manchester Victoria via Wakefield Kirkgate. Hull terminates Leeds and Scarborough at York. There are also various weekend blocks, for example next Saturday there's no TPE services Leeds - Manchester only Northern via Calder Valley.

Yes I got that but I like a good old fashioned timetable. They DO have a temporary timetable I hope. Of course they have. SHARE it with your customers

Looks like they've just updated that (or updated the link in the menu as that link still exists).

The news section still stops suddenly at the beginning of April.
