Think Citaro 809 broke down in Ashbourne on the 09.00 114 to Derby yesterday. Later 804 had replaced it.. Today, a D&G Enviro 200, fleet number 120 was working the routeHigh Peak 807 has broken down at Manchester airport

Isn’t High Peak (despite being a joint venture with Wellglade) actually operated by Centrebus?Quite a lot of Wellglade buses break down each day!
Yes it is. My comment was more that it's not exactly news that a bus (that's not actually a Wellglade bus!) had broken down. Wellglade buses break down no more than other buses really, but it's a fact of life that hard-worked vehicles will have issues once in a while.Isn’t High Peak (despite being a joint venture with Wellglade) actually operated by Centrebus?
Quite a change in view & much more accurate.Yes it is. My comment was more that it's not exactly news that a bus (that's not actually a Wellglade bus!) had broken down. Other people seem to report breakdowns on here, not sure why the backlash this timeQuite. I’m not sure why a bus breakdown is really worthy of comment on a forum…..They happen every day in most companies. Old buses, new buses, doubles, singles. However well maintained, mechanical stuff wears out and breaks unexpectedly.
I've seen an image of the inside of one of the new X38 refurbs.Re x38, I've heard they are being fitted with 2+1 seating, like the villager Darts were once upon a time. Imagine that on there now.
Obviously the daytime loading will be somewhat down per bus with so many running, but the night owl trips used to get very busy, not sure fewer seats will be a good thing.
In such a case as that, would Trent at Derby be prepared to supply a replacement vehicle, given that it's an associated company?Seems a regular occurrence that one of High Peaks Citaro's brakes down at the Airport, they seem to like breaking as far away from the Depot as possible, I've even seen the odd one broken down in Derby while on Trans-Peak duties before now.
It's happened before where n+d loaned a versa for the day. I've attached an image of said versaIn such a case as that, would Trent at Derby be prepared to supply a replacement vehicle, given that it's an associated company?
Trent wouldn’t, but Notts+Derby have on many occasions, years back when excels were the main allocation loans were a very regular occurrence. In such a case as that, would Trent at Derby be prepared to supply a replacement vehicle, given that it's an associated company?
It’s not an associated company. Operationally, it’s a Centrebus business that Wellglade happen to have shares in.In such a case as that, would Trent at Derby be prepared to supply a replacement vehicle, given that it's an associated company?
Both had a crash last year, one at Manchester Airport. Both expected to be replaced by Volvo /MCV soon. Since the accident, I think both have been out, but had faultsDoes anybody know what's wrong with the 2 former Marshalls of Sutton Versas that High Peak have got (High Peak 765 & 766)? 765 hasn't been out since 9 January and 766 hasn't been out since 15 October last year.
Are they still in the fleet or have they been disposed of?
AD24 is their aftermarket support scheme, not their brand nameDemo bus AD24 ADL
But in this case AD24 ADL is the bus registrationAD24 is their aftermarket support scheme, not their brand name
Oh!But in this case AD24 ADL is the bus registration
Which is also why Derby is a outstation for High Peak, and not a depotIt’s not an associated company. Operationally, it’s a Centrebus business that Wellglade happen to have shares in.
Probably because no maintenance is normally undertaken there for High Peak.Which is also why Derby is a outstation for High Peak, and not a depot
Have 743/4 had new white destis fitted yet?739s returned to service on skylink express. While also carrying a new set of white blinds
No 743 was still orange the last time I saw it... 744 might be having them fitted, could be part of the reason it's been off for so longHave 743/4 had new white destis fitted yet?
Well Scania 1207 is due a MOT till May, although they could do it early. Maybe it needs some work. That said, I thought it was expected to be withdrawnNo 743 was still orange the last time I saw it... 744 might be having them fitted, could be part of the reason it's been off for so long
Tm travel omnilink 1207 seems to have been towed into meadow road. (My badly taken photo attached)
Ive seen stuff like the line 30 branded versa have work done at meadow road so might just be a maintenance thing. It didn't look too bad off, the blinds were on and the front panel was off, which is quite common when towing. Id also assume if it was to be withdrawn it would go to Langley mill rather than meadow road.Well Scania 1207 is due a MOT till May, although they could do it early. Maybe it needs some work. Yes, Meadow Road are assisting with maintenance.Ive seen stuff like the line 30 branded versa have work done at meadow road so might just be a maintenance thing.
