It is more of an assumption. The timetable on the trentbarton website gives varying times between Corporation Street and Victoria Street (5 to 20 mins) in the Burton direction but from Burton the times shown at Victoria Street are all 5 mins after Corporation Street.
Looking again, a bus arrives at Corporation Street and seems to wait. It then leaves, then 10 minutes later, leaves the Victoria Street stop. So, if we assume the bus will take 3 minutes between those stops, it will still wait at the latter stop for another 7 minutes.
Two brand new yellow E200 MMCs are at Langley Mill for prep work before moving to their depot at Loughborough for skylink Derby Leicester. These are the first for kinch to feature cameras instead of mirrors, as per the Yutongs which will be the same.

Are any of the forthcoming Enviro 200MMCs due for Kinchbus, expected in the spare blue and yellow livery. A friend thought he saw a yellow and blue one at the ADL plant in Scarborough.
Weren't there just 12 *original' Kinch Derby Skylinks (with a few odds added later). Increased to a pvr of 16 when the frequency increased from x20 to x15.
As Kinch still seems desperately short of reliable vehicles, it could really do with hanging on to 3 or 4 of any ex-Skylink vehicles going.

Sorry - pressed 'post reply' in error... The town services continue to be plagued by missing journeys. Versa 831 failed yesterday on 12, and 801 seems to have been playing up today on 11. With DRT and Sprint seen as priorities, there are in effect no 'spares' as such currently. DRT 1031 has been out of action for 6 weeks, and ominously its partner 1030 is also off-road for the past 2 days. Long periods of inaction have happened before with the DRT vehicles. Does anyone know what the problem is? 1031 has been at Derby, for some reason for the whole of May.

Sixes would use 10 out of 12 so is probably the most likely scenario. Either that or my15 but apparently my15 has new buses on order too?
128 id imagine would go back to skylink notts to replace 125. Other two 20 plates could go as spares or one onto cotgrave potentially. Likely 174/175 will go back to tb as well as the b7rles. Id imagine kinch will keep 107/108 if they dont have any new spares on order with 109 returning to tb
Kinch also have new yutongs due for delivery which should eradicate the issues on their other routes and i would imagine ideally reduce the number of spares needed
Worth remembering so many spares are tied up on skylink at the moment to meet the pvr, the new order should have enough buses to cover the pvr so the spares will fill in the gaps for breakdowns etc

I don’t believe so as the investments for this year are quite large. You need to keep in mind that the my15 is a subsidised service these days and for that reason I think it would be unlikely to see brand new busses unless it did become a profitable route. Most likely it will see cascaded busses from elsewhere in the coming years.
The order for Skylink Derby is 16 E200MMC - for a pvr of 16. Either a couple of the existing fleet is staying or they've realised that electrics can help on the shorter rotas or be temporary fill-ins for a few hours.

Is not a particularly strenuous route either that’s why the versas have seemed to mostly cope over the last 14 years apart from when they’re doing versa things. Evoras are quite heavy duty so I thought that it was pretty unlikely from the start.

Could be wrong here but isn't it only subsided from sawley to eastmidlands every1h meaning the every 15min frequency from ilkeston to sawley must be somewhat profitable so ye although don't see them getting new buses this year and agree its unlikely soon don't think it's impossible to have new buses on it even if its next yr or the yr after and not just cascades.
I'm guessing the blue like on the rears of kinch livery buses is on skylinks to make it better known its a kinch not TB route and if so does this mean TB skylinks when replaces will have something on it to mark it as a TB route? Because seems odd ti me that they would change it from yellow with curved backs that are aligned with the planes on the side unless they marking it as kinchbus as its near enough or is the same yellow and blue also this may allow buses from other routes and this route to go between the 2 better even if it has skylink written on the side.

Just remember that on the front the logos have less effort put in, as they are built to light up when the driver turns the normal external lights on, so they probably need to be simple with as little detail as possible. I'm guessing the logos on the sides and the rear of each vehicle will be much more detailed, as vinyls have not yet been applied.
